Keep your jewellery looking fresh and shining for longer with a little extra care!

Plated jewellery has a thin layer of plating, which can naturally wear or tarnish over time. Following these care tips can help maximise the life of your jewellery:

• Avoid direct contact with perfume, lotions, creams, oils and other cosmetics. Apply these products and allow them to dry before putting on your jewellery.

• Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming or exercising, as exposure to water, chlorine and sweat can affect the plating.

• Avoid contact with cleaning products, nail polish remover, antibacterial products and other harsh chemicals.

• After wearing your jewellery, gently wipe it with a clean, soft cloth to remove dirt, oils and moisture.

• For additional cleaning, use a soft cloth with warm, mild soapy water and dry the jewellery thoroughly afterwards.

• Avoid harsh jewellery cleaners or abrasive brushes, as these may damage the plating.

• Store jewellery in a dry, protected place, ideally separately from other pieces to help prevent scratching.
